Happy New Years to All

Tis the day before New Years and our house is a mess
We got all that we needed, we really feel blessed.
The kids are not sleeping, they forgot how
They're kind of cranky, and so are we now.
To All who didn't get a card, or a phone call -
We didn't forget you, we didn't send any at all.
We had good intentions, but you know where that leads-
We hope you had fun, and the season met all your needs.
Next year we'll be better, we'll send what we buy
Unlike this year, where we gave it a try.
We didn't quite make it, but we love you a lot
Sorry for the slight, we're lower than snot.
