We had Samantha blessed yesterday. It was a typical family function full of chaos, but went fairly well, all things considered.
Sammie loves to be held, so she seemed to enjoy the stream of relatives to hold her. She was pretty good natured through the whole thing.
I always enjoy when my kids get to play with their cousins. I am so looking forward to when Sammie and Kaeden (my too cute for words nephew) will be able to play together. They like to look at each other now, and Kaeden will reach for her, but I can't wait until they can actually play.
The house was too crowded and I was too preoccupied to sit and visit much, but I really appreciated all who came and supported us. It turned out to be a very nice day and now I feel like I can relax and enjoy the holidays.
I found out a couple of weeks ago that the last Wednesday of each month is free admission day to the Hogle Zoo. (At least through February). So, I called the next door neighbors and off we went. The weather was warm and we had a really nice visit.
The kids love taking pictures on the statues throughout the zoo. It was Sammie's first trip, not unsurprisingly, she was not too impressed. We ran into four other families from our neighborhood, guess we are all a little on the frugal side.

Can you tell that I nurse Sammie?

HIP HOP DIAPER HEAD

We don't know why Aubree does half the things she does, but she does it all with flair. So the day before Thanksgiving Aubree informs us that her new name is Hip Hop Diaper Head Aubree. She hopped all over the house. I didn't think it was worth getting mad over, so instead I opted for future blackmail material.

Ethan, not to feel left out, decided to get in on the action as well. So, we took the pictures and then he asked "You're not going to put this on the blog, are you?"

Yes son, I am.

Even Sammie knew this was somehow a little wrong and hung her head in disbelief.
